Any estimates on how much it should cost to get valves, springs, etc., installed on bare heads?
Thanks~

Depends, are you going to have the have valve jobbed, and the bowls cleaned up?

If so, price here is $250.
And it's 250 well spent.

no, the heads have already been worked. Stage 3 valve job, etc.
They're just disassembled...

I know people that would do if for a case of beer. And most of the time they will drink it with you. I know alot of people some are familly who race stock cars and 80% are fords so I have a good choice on people who will help me out for free or cheap.

So I am assuming you have the valves already that were part of the valve job process with the heads? If not they will need to be lapped in, or possible cut to match you heads.

If you have near all your components, your looking at $100-$150, they may change you for some shims for the springs if you need them to get the proper height etc...

I spent a total of $900 on my iron GT40 heads. I had about$475 in buying them and shipping them.

So about $400+ in new springs, retainers, keepers, 3 angle valve job, and .020 mill. I did the final install of the Comp springs etc. Does not include rockers or pushrods. I used leftover stock stamped pedestals and old stock flat tappet pushrods. Still revs to 6K every time.

I do have the valves and springs that were originally on there, they're just all in a box.
They just neep to be re-assembled.
I had planned on using the stock rockers and pushrods. What advantages will I have going to new rollers? Given that it is still SD.
Also trying to keep it budget-friendly...
Car won't see too much track action, if any; if I break 13.5, I'll need a rollcage, and a custom-made one to boot, as a bolt-in won't fit the McLaren, so track days *might* be done.
