Yes, if they do quality work. That is ALOT of work as the "new" pieces you are providing are nowhere near a perfect fit. So yea, that is a decent price.

Based on the fact I got a quote to put two quarter panels on for $800 and I supply the panels, sounds damn good to me.

That's a good deal, especially since their doing the work! I bought my sheetmetal and MIG welder with gas and miscellaneous tools. I've done both full length floorpans, floor to firewall extensions, partial firewall on drivers side, both front floor supports and both front torque boxes myself. I've still got to put in the seat risers and front battery tray plus the subframe connectors. It wasn't too bad but it can be time consuming and dirty work. In all I've probably spent over your quoted amount of money. On the plus side I get bragging rights about doing the work myself and I get to keep all the tools and equipment when I'm done. I'm kind of picky about the work so you could say I'm a perfectionist. I am in no way a professional, I'm just a regular guy and wanted to do this work myself. I also wanted the experience doing this work so I could possibly do it again later down the road with another car. But like you I don't feel comfortable doing any metal work that will be easly seen, such as a fender or quarter panel, YET. So if the work wasn't done right and to my liking then I have only myself to blame. If you don't want or can't put in all the time and effort to do it yourself and buy all the tools to do it, then by all means have someone do it for you. There's no harm or foul in my book. As long as it gets done is the important thing!
If I had to do it all over again, I'd probably opt out and have someone else do it. It would probably be all done by now!

that is a good price, especially from a dealership....

I paid $1200 or more just for my floorpans from a small shop....
