could this be my problem???

my guage cluster doesn't work (lights, volts, fuel, temp, and oil pres.) the blinkers work but thats about it, i took the cluster out and noticed two problems here are some pics

what could that go to its a black wire and its cut

The other wire is back there some where. Find it and hook it up.

Wires come with a primamry color and a tracer stripe. Both colors are needed to identify the wire and circuit it belongs to.

The year of the car is also needed. The wiring changed several times between 79 and 95.

He said 1986. Not all wires have a Tracer. But the majority do.

i tried gronding it, nothing it was a good ground to. ill take the dash out to see if i can find the wire thanks

couldnt find the other end but i did make a mistake i got a good look at the wire its not a black wire its dark grey i compared it to the black wire on the same connector if any one has any idea i really appreciate it

i got nothing i think im just going to put it back in and sell the damn car ha ha
