Well, I have to say that this Stang is by far the best of the 3 I have owned. Tonight, full moon on one side and setting sun on the other...Straight shot country road.....century mark and this little beast sucks to the road and is a smooth as a baby's butt...... :nice:

The road is your run of the mill asphalt/concrete country road. With pits and divits..I felt like I was on a ride at Six Flags. Hahahahahahha..... I can honestly say that my nerves gave out before the little Red Machine did. The suspension and 3 link rear axle is a wonder... :hail2:

If you haven't had an opportunity to take your new toy out and have a little safe, yet hair raising fun, I highly recommend it. I am in awe each time I push this car and can't stop smiling....Better than sex...

Wow Jenn, that's great to hear. Mine is being built today and I can't wait till she comes in next week.

It' nice to hear these types of comments after some of the negative ones that I've been reading.

Thanks!!!

Good story, someday I hope to have a new stang to call my own. I will clean it, and wash it, and wax it, and race it...
but for now, I will be EQUALLY as happy to get my 91 coupe up and running strong (still my favorite body style/motored Stang  )

Are you talking about Six Flags Great Adventure in NJ? Because I live round there and I've seen a red '05 Mustang GT on several highways and 195. It's just about the only other '05 Mustang GT I've seen except for my black one around here.

I ran 85-100 mph in the one I test drove a while back and there wasn't any hood vibration that I could see. Hell, I didn't feel a thing at speed, it was smooth as silk. The salesman was actually encouraging me to go fast. :D

No hood Vibration at all. There were no cross or head winds though either. Then again, 100 for 2 mins on a 2 lane country road, my horizon sight was about 1/4 mile ahead most the time. The radio was off. But, I didn't hear anything abnormal, other than my breathing when I hit a few aggressive asphalt caps in the road and the rear tried to pull a little one-two-step...but I was ready..and it was not half as bad as the rear end hop that my 03GT had....Yep. The 3-link rear axle is simply beautiful....

The front's coil over Strut and reverse L-control arms level off recoil nicely and provides a nice tight handling response.... Just DON'T Sneeze :rlaugh: Simply smooth....

Concentrating on the road was my main focus. Allow me to try this again this Sunday and hit about 105 and I'll let you know.... Maybe the vibration issue is limited to the GTs..I just read the link in the GT tech thread...do we have any sixers with this problem?

As for the Six Flags..OBleedingme..Nope..I am all the way on the other coast...Cali. - Northern California. Six Flags Marine World - Vallejo, CA would be my play station. :)
