You have a tweecer (sp) if Im not mistaken so you could go back to the dyno and just program it so you have enough fuel in the upper RPM range where you started to run lean.
Those are some nice #'s, now I know what to aim for![]()
WIth Jose in the car last week, I hit 13PSI, but normally, Ill get 10-11 pretty easily.
BTW..those #'s were with NO FMU and 30# injectors. We didnt think the car would pass 350 HP, so we assumed 30's would be enough.. WELL, it wasnt, So we slapped the FMU on (which I bought used with an 8:1) disk. That was WAY too much. When we dynoed, the AFR wouldnt go higher than 10:1, so we put a bleeder valve on it. Still couldnt get it over 10:1 at WOT.
That's when I got these 36's cheap. We took the FMU off and left the 36's I use the TwEECer at low and high rpm to adjust, but havent done it yet at WOT on the DYNO. The shop that did Mine and Vib's Blowers is OFF the list of shops to use (TOO MANY F--k UPS that Joe, Jose, Javi, Roger have helped me fix)(THANKS GUYS)
SO that's where I stand now. If this engine ever blows, I will sell the Vortech to help me finance a 331 with AFR's. THis way, I can make 400 HP WITHOUT the Vortech.
Good luck
RC
