I saw on an earlier post that one of you guys thinks that the Lincoln LS bolt pattern/offset will be similar to the '05. What do you guys think? If so, I was just on TireRack.com looking at the styles of rims, and there are some 18" and 19" rims that look awesome.

How do you guys think a Boss 302 type of stripe would look on the 05? anyone have any photoshopped pics of a 05 Boss 302?

Finally, has anyone seen the red in person? the red I saw down in Nashville at the 40th was more of a maroon color. Is ford going to make a cherry red?

Thanks

Sam

I don't know if the offset is the same. I do know that wheels companies are already getting the measurement. 3 weeks ago HRE had an 05 to measure.

torch red is the color that looks like cherry red and redfire is probably the maroon color you saw

The Lincoln LS uses a 5 x 4-1/4" pattern with a 60 mm offset. Someone told me that you can put wheels on a LS that have as low as a 45 mm offset, but I don't know if that is true.

Over on StangSource, someone posted that he asked a Ford engineer who was at one of the events that the 05 Stang was shown at. The engineer told him that the 05 stang had lug pattern pattern of 5x4-1/2 with V8 offset 45mm and V6 - 39mm

There have been at least 50 Boss photo-chops, do a search or read through the old posts.

There will be 2 reds for 05, torch red and redfire, both are carry over colors.

if you could find some stripes that look like the one's off of a 70' that would look great.
