Im looking to do a little suspension work in the near future and got a couple questions. Im basically set on Tokico HP shocks and struts with Steeda Sport Springs. I dont go to the track and have no plans to do so. So im looking for a good street setup and I dont want to have to hafta worry about scraping on everything, so im not looking for alot of drop. Does this sound like a good setup for what Ive described? Also is there any difference in Bullit and Mach 1 Tockicos from regular Tokicos other than the ones Ford uses being black and the others blue? Anybody running this setup, how do you like the ride, handling, drop?

The bullitt and the mach 1 struts/shocks are valved a little different, but are equal to tokico HP's. I have the mach 1 struts and shocks with FRPP C springs and I love it. From what I understand the steeda sports are very similar to the C springs. So I would save some money and do what I did! I think the should leave the factory that way!!

I'd go with H&R springs 1.5 or so drop and Bilstein Shocks. Tokicos usually leaks pretty early on. Bilsteins will last you a long time and has lifetime warranty. I have both on mine and I never ever scrape.

I have the Mach I Tokicos and H&R Supersports. Great combo for improved handling, comfort, and looks. I've had them for nearly 1.5yrs and they still ride like they did when they were installed.

SilverBullet, You got any pics of your car? How much drop did you get with the C's? Ive heard of some guys not getting an even drop with them or just more drop in the front than the back. I like the raked look but dont want the ass end sticking up while the front is noticeably lower. The stangs Ive seen running H&R's have a nice aggressive looking stance. I just dont know how Im gonna change my oil after I lower it, the jack just barely slids under the front now.

I have the HP's on my GT and had them on my V6. I love them they firmed up the ride, but its still a tolerable ride.

I just purchased the Bullitt suspension package form Gene Evans Ford for $399.
Tokico shocks & struts, front and rear sway bars, 600lb rate front springs, and 250lb rate rears. Shipping to MA. was $48.50> (93 pounds). Will get it all installed when I get some time.

i've got intraxx springs. a more agressive drop and the springs are on the stiff side but with my illuminas, the drop is killer and the ride is awesome. It'll hang with WRX's in the twisties if that's any indication of how effective they are

I have the Mach1/Tokico Springs/Struts/Shocks and love the ride especially for $327 from GEFRacing.com. It is noticebly stiffer than cobra-stock and slightly lower.

SatinSilver, let me know when you get that Bullit Suspension on and how much of a drop you get with it and how you like it. Some pics wouldnt hurt either Ive thought about going that route, cant beat the price.
FastRed, how much of a drop do you get with those intraxx springs, Im really only looking for about a 1 1/4inch drop. Living out in the country the roads arendt that great.
SlitheringJoe, Do you have any pics of your car with the Mach 1 setup?
