my cluster pod seems to be making noise i dont think its all the way tight, but thats okay im getting ready to pull it to replace the dimmer, and the hazard defrost switch (hazard backlights out) and the 194 bulbs back there, and i was thinking, my speedo seems to make a gridingish sound sometimes when everything else is quiet. it doesnt seem to be coming from the trans though. so im thinking it something on the back of the cluster. what is that?
also my steering wheel seems to be feeling smooth and i don't want it to become the peeling type, so what can i do to help it. can i armor all it?

so i just started and the little thing on the bottom right of the cluster bezel that is a circular thing and has the 4 holes ont he outside, one of the wiresbehind the metal thing broke. what is that thing?
