my cousin inlaw purcased a 96cobra convertible pretty much bone stock except for some 18" chrome 95cobra r's and cross drilled rotors and has the factory svo side exhaust. he wants to start making mods, any quick less expensive mods he can do right away? I told him start with the induction and then possibly open up the exhaust. thanks for any input.

410s and drag radials, shifter, x pipe and it will make that car come alive. maybe even 430s if he can stand it

4.10's, Xpipe, catback, Timing adjuster, Anderson Powerpipe, Drag Radials, Steeda or Pro 5.0 shifter, are great starter mods that will show huge improvements and put him close to 300rwhp.

factory side exhaust huh? I doubt it. Maybe "dealership" side exhaust, but I don't think any 96 cobra's came from the factory with side exhaust.

The usual bolt-ons:

Gears (4.10+). Headers/midpipe/catback. CAI or K&N air filter. Shifter. Pulleys. Drag radials. Etc...
