Well I did a compression test and everycylinder pretty much checks in at 150 with oil and without. I did a leakdown test and that came in excellent also the guage pretty much stayed at 0 on every cylinder. So with that being said I would like to know where my oil is going. I am still getting some blowby also. Originally if I pulled my spark plugs #3,4,7,8 plugs the threads are always wet with oil. 1,2,5,6 are alwayd dry. Now however when I pulled them last night the threads on all the plugs are wet with oil. I also installed a screen in my intake for the pcv and I am still getting some oil into my manifold. Somehow and somewhere Within the last couple hundred miles I have lost 2 quarts of oil. And it isn't leaking externally anywhere. The motor and the car are bone dry. I also have a high volume oil pump on this car. It was there when I bought it. Its a stock 302 engine with a few mods. I have been told by lots of people that I need to get rid of it and put a standard pump on it. That its causing more harm than good. And that the pump is probably the culprit for my valvetrain noise because the oil is getting up to the top quicker than it can come back down and therefor the lifters are not able to stay pumped up all the way. I know my oil pressure sit between 70-80 on the interstate and at idle it sits at around 50-60. any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated
