1998 GT

67,000 miles

Just started spooging coolant out of the bolts in the T-stat housing.

I can't afford to get it fixed ... called 5 local Ford dealers, and 4 of them told me my car isn't covered ... the 5th laughed and told me there was no recall or TSB .. and refused to even look it up.

Stupid piece of crap plastic thing is OBVIOUSLY an issue if they changed designs to "fix a problem", but they won't FIX the PROBLEM for people who own one.

'97 GT cracked big time on December 31, 1999.

Maybe it was a year 2000 problem.

I was passing someone on the back roads, hammering it in 4th and it literally cracked wide open when I let off. So much steam out the back that I thought it was smoke and that I had totally blown the motor.

Really a whole lot of fun.
