Well this ones got me baffled. I've recently converted to a fox style set up with a Trick flow intake that I bought used, a 70mm t-body with no egr plate. Now I have a high pitch whistle. I've checked and checked every vacume line. Adjusted fuel pressure down, Disconnected and blocked off IAC valve. everything I can think of, but can't get rid of it. It starts about 3-5 seconds after start up, disapears just off idle and comes back at higher rpms and continues as engine shuts down. The only thing left I can think of is a crack.
does this sound familiar to anyone?

you can spray brake cleaner around all the sealed vacuum sources and listen for idle fluctuations. if idle changes then that is where your leak is.

Ok..One thing you could do is put the old intake back on? and see if noise is there. ,,,if not then take the problematic intake to the machine shop? Just an idea.

Yup, checked to make sure everything was tight. All is well. Gonna continue to run this way untill car comes off the road in another couple months. I'll hit the track tomorow if the weather allows, we'll see what happens then.
