crane cobra 1.7 rocker ques

Will these fit under the stock valve cover with no modifications?
and what valve springs should I use with these?

BTW I have the stock cam.

They will not unless you "massage" the valve covers with a hammer. Don't worry about upgrading the valve springs. You only need to do that when you put in a different cam that has a lot more lift or duration.

I used a thicker set of Valve Cover Gaskets made by ROL... 3/16" thick, and put them in with a Crane 2031 cam.. They fit perfect, and didn't have to massage anything, nor did I remove the baffles...
