Machine shop just called and my GT crank is too badly scarred to machine so I need another one. I am looking into the cobra cranks but everyone seems to say that slight modification will need to be made to 96-98 blocks for proper fit. Anyone know what modifications need to be made? I am looking at purchasing an 03 cobra crank to put into my 97 romeo block.

the block will have to be modified for the extra weight on the Cobra crank. If you arent going to be making 700+hp, the GT crank will be fine. Its lighter anyways.
