I cannot get the crank pulley to come off of the balancer.

I took out the 4 bolts that hold it on and the thing just won't budge. I gave it a few good taps with a hammer but I don't want to damage anything internal by beating on something that is attached to the crank. I sprayed some PB Blaster in between them and let it sit for a few hours, won't budge...

Any tricks to getting those 2 to come apart?

I installed these on my 88 and the thing fell right off when I removed the bolts. WTH.

i had one stick before and used a old putty knife and wedge it in until i broke it free. just dont use it to pry with. just drive it in pull it out and drive it back in next to the spot where you last did it.

Spray it again and pry and hit. You won't damage anything...that thing is just rusty. The pulley would bend before the crankshaft would.
