here is what i want.

320 to 350 horse (it will be a daily driver)
i want the mass air (mine is speed density)
i want to spend no more than $3500 (im broke )
where should i go to get this? (im in dallas tx)

am i asking to much or am i being reasonable?

Only one I know of is an FRPP that goes for around $3100-$3200. It's not gonna put the power down you want though. From what I have read they usually hit about 260rwhp. They don't come with intakes or valve covers either IIRC and you have to swap the front accesories and oil pan.

On the other hand if you could come up with a little more Keith Craft has a 306 complete with heads and intake that advertises 375hp (flywheel rated I'm sure) for about $4250. Based on loss through a 5-speed that would get you the power you want pretty much.

If your looking for a killer deal, there are always motors on corral.net , a lot of which have never even been run.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
