88' Foxbody GT Engine Tips

I purchased a 88' Foxbody Gt this past year and the engine is on its way out. What are some tips for building a new engine or buying a crate engine? I was thinking of getting a Fuel injected 347 crate from blueprint engines but that route seems a bit costly any tips on a good street engine setup that make around 400hp-450hp that isn't as costly as spending 15 g's on a crate engine.

Here's a fully dressed efi'd 415hp BluePrint motor for a 'lil over 9 grand....

Those motors are okay for Kalifornia???
These motors aren't legal in cail but I don't really care at this point. I told myself if I'm putting over 10 g's in a build I want it to be how I want it not by california's standards.

So my 331 is built pretty well and it dyno'd 450ish on an engine dyno. You are going to have to spend some coin to get 400-450 rwhp.
Agreed. My old 'built' 331 was probably $8k+ 15 years (parts/labor) ago buying the heads and intake used and i was probably putting out 100 less hp than AeroCoupe.
