I have some ideas to make my Mustang unique, but I would like to know what is the craziest or most unique exterior cosmetic thing ever done to a Mustang? (2000-2004 model year) This way i'm not copying anybody else.

If you're trying to be original.. you won't be, just do what you like and 9 times out of 10 youll find that in your effort you have been original already =)

good luck, whatever you do post pics

I have one of the "uniques" done. However, I can't post a picture at this time since my Digital camera is a $30 Office Max cheapo. It won't take pictures at night. I do have a friend though that might be able to help. I will update tommorrow.

hehe, i bet mine will be real unique once its finished. saleen kit all around w/ heat extractor hood and not the saleen wing. gonna get a steeda wing. and then i want to get some svt cobras and then take them to a custom shop and try to get dual spinning rims. i saw them on a american chopper episode where they made a bike for dixie chopper(lawn mower) and the wheels looked like lawnmower blades. it was sooo badass. o and i almost forgot, sequentials w/ the 3m vinyl blackouts and prolly limo tint. howdya think thatd look?

I guess my shaker is the only thing keeping me "unique" (sure others might have em but I havent seen one yet in my area, let alone a DSG one)

HAD THIS INFO POSTED IN THE WRONG THREAD

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
To FruitNCrunch,
If you have the money for it wouldn't look bad at all. I have sequentials already they cost me $30 worth of parts from the local speed shop and RadioShack. My dad put sequentials on his 2002 Dodge Startus as well.

Here is everything i've done so far:

Both my parents won't let me buy anything else for my car though. They said when i pay off my insurance i can do what I want ($1,600 a year). This is what i've been able to get away with so far. With alot of help from my dad.

Exterior:
Mach 1 knock-off hood black out with mustang logo in center and pin-stripping along the edges.
Monogram my intials on the driver's side door. (AEG)
Painted "mustang" letters on back
Wal Mart sticker in rear bumper
mesh grilles on from and back made with spray-painted door screening
painted mustang logo on my crap stock alloy rims (3 of which are beat-up)
removed side molding (why did Ford put them on anyway?)
5% VLT window tint on rear side windows (quarter windows)
chrome plate covers
painted calipers red

Exterior Lighting:
Sequential taillights
Classified 1 (DONE)
Classified 2 (DONE)
Classified 3 (STILL IN THE WORKS)
Classified 4 (DIDN'T BUY THE PARTS YET)
Ain't goin to tell anybody till it's all done

Interior:
painted mustang logo on steering wheel, and mustang lettering on passenger dash and in door jam
Chrome racing pedals
my cousin bought some fuzzy dice for herself then decided to hang them on my rearview mirror.

Interior Lighting:
Classified 1
Classified 2
Both of these are done but i'm not going to tell you just yet.

Performance:
took a piece of my stock intake off. (that horn shaped piece)
re-wrapped all black electrical wiring in red electrical tape. (not really performance is it?)

That's it

oh yeah- my car used to belong to the Hertz rental car agency still have the paper work for that
