You guys know how some new cars shut down to four cylinders when at a certain speed or what not.......Is it possible to make it work with ours??? I mean like with the tweecer. Once your at cruising speeds you'll have to switch to a different tune to run on 4 cylinders.....I mean it just a thought.....

are you planning on shutting off the fuel to the cylinders? i think the sn's technology is too primitive for DoD. it'd be a cool thing as far as gas goes, but i dont see it happening.

you would have to do it in a way that it still kept the engine balenced so that it wouldnt run too ruff

Im still kinda new to tweecer and dont know how you turn off injectors with the com, but if you coudmmaybe cut 2, 4, 5, 7 and see what happens?

Or maybe just use a simple switch on 4 of the injectors?, run it into your cab, flip a toggle switch and turn off 4 injectors that way?

But idk, if there was a way to do it automatically it would be sweet, like as soon as you can past like 1/2 throttle it kicks on the other 4 cylinders agian.

That would be awesome but I think I remember reading somewhere that 4 of the 8 cylinders have to have specials lifters for it to work, and that the valves stayed closed. Doesn't make sense to me though

I dont think i will be so easy according to this information :

http://www.allpar.com/mopar/new-mopar-hemi.html

Lifters are disabled, so the engine will not go thought the compression which on this case will make the engine loose energy to make the compression cycle. thus loosing power and probably making economy worst.

I think that on this pushrods engines is really imposible.

Also i dont know the hemi ingnition order. but also that will have to check to see if disabling some cylinders will affect the balance.

For the R&D curiosity can be tested. but i think it will be very rough and not so good. but on a old engine can be done
