I've got the engine from my '93: it has GT40P heads, explorer intake, 70mm TB, 1.7 RRs, and BBK Shorties. Should've been a decent little performer but it never ran right and I laid the car down. I'm now parting it out. I want to try and get the '93 engine rebuilt, possibly with a new cam and valvetrain, and drop it into my '94.
I'd like this to be as drop-in as possible. My AC and PS work great so I'd be hanging those on the fenders and keeping them. Essentially just going with a fox engine, with 94 accessories. I take it I need to swap over the timing cover and oil pan from the '94? Do I use all the '94 sensors? No lengthening of things is required?
I wouldn't mind going with fox TB / EGR since I already have the 70mm TB, and I have the cable / bracket. Will this work?
