hey guys,
A while back i redid my intake manifold gaskets and shortly after i realized my horn and my cruise control had quit working. Not really completely sure if its related to something i did when i did the gaskets but i checked all my fuses and they all look fine. Can anyone give me any ideas on what it could be and what actually makes the cruise control and horn work? Are they related? What can i check for? At first i thought i had misrouted a vacuum line but ive checked multiple times and they all look fine. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Check out the horn relay. They both use it. If your horns don't work, neither will your cruise.
There are 2 relays located above your warning chime under the IP. The horn relay is the left looking toward the front of the car. Does your lighter work? All are on fuse 16. Jumper the LB/W wire with the Y/LG wire and see if the horns blow. If not, jumper the LB/W wire with the DB wire and see if the horns blow. If they work, replace the relay.

If it wasn't related to anything you did previously, (just one of those coincidental gigs/happenings), I'd say your clock spring took a dump. (contains all the wiring for air bag/horn/cruise switches from steering wheel thru columm). :>)
I'de find that extremely unlikely. Those only come apart with the steering "loosened" and someone really yanks on the wheel beyond the steering stops. Also, he said only his cruise and horn stopped working, nothing else. I might check what JB66 said however, relays go when you least expect them. In some freakish way the clock spring could have been seperated, but unlikely considering he wasn't anywhere near that area.
