Cruise stopped working

Not sure what to do with this. My cruise control stopped working and I am not sure why. I know it shares its fuse with other stuff and everything else works fine, I even tested all the fuses. Any common problems for this?

Look near the throttle linkage. There's a little black plastic piece that connects to the TB linkage, which is used for the CC. If it's broken, that's the problem.

Also, if you have a 5 speed with a quadrant and firewall adjuster that can cause your cruise to not engage because it trips the clutch pedal sensor.

This issue cause me some hours of grief, so I thought I would give you a heads up just in case!

Thanks for the help ya'al. Just found a switch under the dash that connects to the brake pedal shaft that was just hanging there. Must be to kill the cruise if you hit the brakes. Works fine now!
