A dealership will have them or a napa or any of the "better" parts stores. (read not autozone)

napa has them. They call it a "bearing spacer". You can look it up online under 8.8" rear end parts on their site.

Dont chuck the old one...If its your first time you may over TQ it...its then spent...I crushed my 1st one to far.....I was screwed, so I threw the original back in...the preload is just a tad more if I remember correctly....That same collar has seen 3 sets of FRPP gears and 22k...still just as quiet as ever...
Like I say...just in case things go South...
FWIW.....I have seen more than a few write-up were the stock collar is re-used...It makes it way easier as you just have sneak up on the mother and get the inch reading...you dont have to crush it...

good luck with it....

Did the same thing with my original crush sleeve. Just reused it since I couldn't crush the new one with the tools I had. It's been over a year and no noise or other problems at all.

Doing the crush sleeve is such a PITA. That thing is a mother to try and get on.

why don't you use a solid spacer. Summit p/n RAT-4105 $16.39 It is reusable and there is one TQ setting (125 ftlbs) so you don't have to play games with breakaway force and the chance of cruching the sleeve to much.
