Just knicked a piece of broken curb and it took a nice chunk out of my newly purchased wheels. Makes me sick to my stomach. I'm so particular I might just have to buy a new wheel to be happy. FML

That sucks. Hate when that kind of thing happens.

Louisiana blows. They don't take care of their roads.

Why not send it out to get refinished?

I once Knocked out a chunk of metal out of polished alloy wheel on my o4 GT by hitting a curb.
Discount tire sent it out for repair and it came back perfect, cost $100.

The front end of my 2012 convertible is so low that I scrape it on high or even moderately high curbs. I know that I should not pull up too far to the curb, but sometimes I forget. Most cars are high enough so that they don't have a problem. I cringe when I hear that scraping sound when I back up from the curb. It amazes me that some of you lower their mustangs.

you need to invest in a front end parking sensor. Relatively easy to install and will give you piece of mind when parking.
