started out with a peice of aluminum 6 x 6 1/2 x 5/8

made a template

after about an hour and a half of work on the scroll saw and drill press...

just using the stock plenium as mock up

its not complety done yet, i still want to clean up some of the edges and sand blast it to make it dull to match the intake and C&L plenium

tell me what you think. btw MMR plate = $70 plus shipping, mine = about $40 and about 2 hours of work............

yeah hopfully it makes a decent gain, but it might be put on the back burner for now, because ive been talking to my buddy, and were trying to put together a tubular k member/control arms, and front coil over kit together for my car, so the intake might have to wait a little longer.......

with the stock plenum it might clear the hood , but with the C&L i doubt it would.... not a chance.... especially that i heard this intake is actually taller then stock , you might wana check clearance but i guess you can slice it into 6 slides and make money off it

my car aftermarket plenum didn't clear with a similar raise with the direct port nitrous kit , so this is something to look out from.

In regards to your custom adapter, did you blend the smaller intake elbow opening into the large square bore opening to help eliminate turbulence?

Nice work! The thicker spacer may actually help on the low end also. I'd still like to see you put the hose to it when she's all finished up!
