Hello,

I have attached my proposed diagram for my setup. Keep in mind, I bought the system with the car and it came off of a Fox Body 5.0 and is going onto my 1990 5.0 LX hatch. The main line is -8 and the return from the rail to the regulator is -6 fittings. I got all the parts together and they are a little older. They are Aeromotive but the parts dont have parts numbers on them. Pics are attached so any help identifying them would be great. I think the large blue thing is an older style fuel filter and it came with two pumps (they have the "+" and "-" for power on both). So far my engine is N/A and is pushing 350-400hp. Anyways, comments or suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. Should I run a duel pump or single for now? I will put a Vortech on it soon too. Thanks!

Engine:
R302 block - Machined and balanced
Aluminum Heads - Ported with Polished valves (330cfm)
Unsure of Cam (Previous Owner built the engine and couldn't remember)
331 Stroker Kit
Ross Pistons
H Beam Rods (Yes H beam)
28oz flywheel and Balancer
Dyno'd at 400hp on engine dyno

You are going to need a separate electrical circuit with a relay to run the fuel pump(s)
You will need to know how much current each fuel pump uses in order to choose the proper size wire and fuse for the pump setup.

You will need to decide if you want the fuel pumps to be controlled by the computer or by a separate switch. If you choose to use a separate switch, you will need to figure some way to wire the inertia switch into the fuel pump control circuit.

I don't like your return coming from the center of the second rail. The best way would be to feed the back of the rails in parallel via a Y block and then another Y block on the return side and then into the regulator. Some regulators can be used as the return Y block. Requires a few more fittings, but you'll have equal flow across all injectors.

How much flow are the pumps rated for? How much current do they draw?

What are your HP goals?

Answer those questions first, and the answers will be much simpler.
