Glad to hear, don't want you to think I'm (or anyone else) picking on you, you may well be in the possession of one of the most popular fox builds in recent stangnet history, glad you're here with it, some will think you are Mike in disguise, I personally miss his build thread shenanigans.

There is. Not all of us are sad he's gone. To me he was a "corral/Indy". Some will know what that means.

Well, if I’ve been proven wrong, and you are two different people...... welcome back.
Glad to see the car still on here, and good luck with the build! That’s a nice looking motor you have going in there!

....... although this could still be the biggest Stangnet shenanigan. Maybe one last pic of Mike when you take ownership of the roller??

not exactly stock….should make about 300 to the flywheel.

300, for now. With the rest of the ride that nice, can we take odds on how long that number does not move up? The chassis will take more.
It’s been very difficult not to step up the 325-350 reliable hp at the wheels in my Mustang while I have another resto mod in the shop and the improved rear suspension parts are still in boxes.

As long as there are opinions like reply #45, I doubt he’ll ever really be back.

You guys need to give him a break on entertainment factor alone...I love it when a guy can barely spell his own name, and he messes them up.

I liked him, and his skin was fairly thick.
I don't want to speculate his departure, I did not get a vote,
Now how bout more picks of that car, oh, does the LJK still live in the back seat?

Uhh sorry. I was reading about indy 2000, and Mark O neil. Seems they both were banned from the Corral for being pricks despite whatever contributions they may have brought to the place..somebody recently said that it didn’t matter if was good press or bad press, it was still free press.

Kinda like hit counts on a member forum…especially when the place is loaded with advertisements.

Reminds me of one of my favorite movie quotes:
“sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few,…..or the one”.

The car is the same minus engine trans. mof, i’m in the middle of negotiating keeping the engine and trans in the deal, never really paid that much attention to one of those engines, it seems like it might be worth the extra 7500.00 we negotiated out of the deal to have him put it back in there ,plus his labor fee lol

You have a good car that Im sure that you will bring it back to a Ford life. Stangnet is known for decent behavior, and thats fine with me. No question is a stupid question. I couldn't have my car without the help here, and I think it goes to my head. Suddenly Im a mechanic.

The technical/how to thread has made a hero out of me more times than I can count,
as for the orange car, stick a ford engine in it and enjoy the ride, I'm not against the 2JZ, I just believe that car needs a life being driven and enjoyed now that the jap engine is sitting on the floor in a basement garage waiting, for what we may never know. I would have bought it running and driving with that engine in it but it's out now and time to move on with ford power.

So, seriously. I bought this car as a roller for 15k. he tried to keep the engine and trans in the dal for an extra 7500, total 22.5k. but i just want a ford all ford. but After looking at the price of these engines online, you can’t even buy one stock for that, and id begetting the trans, shifter and a whole bunch of other stiff for way less than it could be bought for. even if i remove it later and resell it if i decide i want to put my sbf in instead i’d be way ahead. thoughts?
