It took a total of 10 days to complete. The only reason it took so long, was for waiting the paint on the amp rack to dry. Without a paint booth, you have to wait a full day for the paint to cure. That is actually Ford OEM black, just like the outside of my car. We did the primer, base coat, clear coat. With the JL 10W7 sub, you only need one. It's being pushed by a 500 watt JL amp as seen in the picture. Trust me, it kicks! Total cost was about $3,000..
 
There is lighting. There is one super bright LED white light under each amp. There are also two white neons in the speaker box. All of this puts a nice glow in each area. The amps actually cover the white LEDs a little too much, so I am in the process of cutting longer washers to bring the amps up a little more and let some more light out.

Personally i would make it so you could just see the amps and no wires but its still very nice.

How hard does that W7 hit? i was thinking of getting one.
