Custom Turbo Setup Need Help On Head Unit

Hey,

I am looking at head units for my custom turbo build on my 04 PI Motor. I have looked at Turbonetics and others but they offer a crap load of differnet turbo head units. Which would be the best to go with? I am going to do a single turbo setup, and I am looking for 500 or so hp with not alot of boost. I heard T3/T4 Hybrid is that correct or no?

With a single, go no smaller than a T-60 (as in 60MM inducer). I would recommend the master power T-70. In any case get the T-4 hotside and your choice of sizes. .68 A/R will spoolup FAST but will die @ higher boost lvs and on teh big end.... and a .96 A/R will be a bit laggy but flow alot better on the topend.
Many people go in the middle with a .81 A/R hotside.

i have been thinking about going with a the t70 for my build and then spraying some nitrous on top of that.

hotmustang, where was ur car hitting full boost at and did it hold it well all the way to redline? i would think twin t-61 would be a bit laggy on a 4.6 but would be good for big power.

EDIT: I am going to go with the Master Power Super 60-1, P-Trim, A/R Size: .84, $599 what do ya think?
