Hey all you Mustang II dudes, check this out:

Insurance for my II (appraised at $10000) is only $310.00 for the whole year!

(For a stock II, in good shape you would be looking at $100.00 a year!)

All I needed was Photos of my car and an appraisal.

previously My II cost $150.00 a month to insure. The Custom Wheel plan has some limitations though:
-Must have a primary insured car.
-Can't drive it to work or the grocery store.

In the US (not sure if it's different or not) My modified 76 Cobra II is insured for 15K. Through http://www.hagerty.com.
Restrictions: must have a primary car, enclosed locked storage, NO miliage restriction, and NO appraisal just provided interior and exterior photos.

Including with the total is "Hagerty Plus": Hagerty Plus pays for the first 10 miles of emergency flatbed towing OR the first $50 of other roadside services, like fuel delivery, battery jumps and lockout service. This plan covers up to three incidents per year for your collector vehicles cost = 24$

Grand total per year is $279

Not sure what the laws and exchange rate is but it doesn't sound like you are getting a bad deal.
