Just gonna be honest here, all the discount Chinese items I've purchased from American Muscle has been severely lacking abd did not hold up to even minor use.

Yeah American Muscle's house brand SR and Latemodel's SVE are all the same product just branded with different acronyms. As far as seats go it's too bad there aren't more places around one can go sit in one to see if you like them or not before you buy.

If you get them I'm curious to see how they stand up after the first year.

I'll take my Corbeaus or some Recaros any day over these. Just my preference..

Corbeaus don't seem to wear very well. Great for a show car but they fade abd the side bolsters sag and tear with regular use.

Nah I'm not gonna get em. Sitting on concrete isn't for me. I don't believe I'm gonna order any seat. To big of a gamble. What if I don't like them and then there's the messing with brackets hoping they fit right and the ride height doesn't suck. I think it'd be better money spent to have mine recovered and keep the power seats. The 94/95 seats aren't that bad. Better than a fox seat.

TMI has foam and covers to convert seats to Termi seats with the better bolstering. I'm thinking about going that route.

CJ's Pony Parts sells TMI foam and covers. How's that for kissing up to site sponsors?

I've read a few threads on people who used the tmi foam and their heads now rub the headliner.

Is it because the foam is too thick or just new?

I've heard the tmi foam is denser and thicker than other foams resulting in a different feel and seat hight.

Hard to beat a good OEM seat for comfort, quality, and durability. Take a look at either SN95 or SN99 seats. They bolt right in and look great. I swapped a set of 2002 leather seats in for the stock Fox body seats. No comparison.

Yeah man I've looked at used 03/04 cobra seats on eBay and such and people want an arm and a leg for em. $1,000 is too much for used seats, especially sight unseen.

But anyway the moral of the store is I have an easier time believing a bad review than I do a good one.

Just upgrade to some new edge seats. Front pair can be had for very little.

Easy to find a set that's not needing to be recovered? If I'm spending money on interior I want it to look new. Oh and how little is little and do they drop right in?

I can usually find a decent pair for less than 300 and its a straight bolt in.
