Cut Fuel line, what to do?

Hey guy i was cutting out my floor in the passanger side, i was using a jig saw and i cut the fuel line, what should i do should i just put a piece of rubber hose in the line to fix the cut?

Ouch You could give it a shot and see what happens. I believe I would try the same thing if I were in your shoes. Just make sure it doesn't leak.

do that or get a piece of hard line about the same diameter as the inside wall of the fuel line, then clamp it back together. how long is the piece? would it be that much trouble to replace the whole section of hose? that would be the best fix so you could ensure no leaks

Make sure you use high pressure fuel line. Its expensive about 6 bucks a foot. So make sure you get the right stuff.

That should work. Leave plenty of rubber hose overhanging the metal. Double clamp it and have the screw part of the clamp 90 degrees out of phase.
