cylinder 8 misfire

so my diablo sport said i have a misfire in cylinder 8. Which cylinder is number 8? and also i find it wierd that the car is missing at idle and half the time driving other times it feels fine.

Cylinder 8 is the driver side rear most cylinder. Your problem may be a bad coil pack, as detailed in this TSB:

But first, I would check the connections on the coil pack, and check the spark plug.

Be careful when removing the plug... read up on the Ford TSB here....I was only able to find the one for the 5.4L engine on the TSB site, but the procedures are the same:
