cylinder wall

I have a 2000 lightning and i bought it used and the cylinder wall is scratched...I just need some information on what i need to do about getting it fixed and back to how it used to be.

How BAD is the scratch?

How did you come to this conclusion? Was there any engine damage or head damage that caused you to remove the head?
