Anyone have 1st hand experience swapping out their k-member? If so do you have any suggestions/recommendations? How difficult was it & how long did it take (or how expensive for someone else to install it). I plan on doing this in my driveway!!!! Thanks for your help guys!

instructions w/ pictures

Go to www.maximummotorsports.com. they have step by step instructions with pictures. we swapped mine in a week-end. that was 3 of use working about 6 hours a day. it's a pain in the butt. but the shops down here wanted over 3,000 to do it. also the maximum k-member is everything they say it is. It's an annoying job but well worth what i saved.....good luck

sorry no pictures...i went with the maximum motorsports maximum box. it's comes with bilstien coilovers. also has everything you need to make a killer street car.except the upper control arms( If i were you I'd add them too )..handles like a road racer but still streetable. also added brembo brakes at the same time....it makes for a killer package. Eats vettes like crazy.
talk to them...they're good people
