All of you who drive your stangs everyday list your milage, how many times you go to the track a year and all the parts you have had to replace on your car from being at the track. Im trying to decide if i should get another car or truck to drive daily!

If you have the funds get another daily, WY put miles or road rash on the car if you don’t need to. Another month or so the stang will not be my daily anymore. Looking to put 3k on it each year after this year. God knows how many passes per year :spot:

8K on mine have 69 passes on the car, had to replace the alternator. If you have the funds, get another daily, WY put miles or road rash on the car if you don’t need to  . Ive got 22,000 miles on my 2003 GT. Only thing I have had replaced is some weather striping that fell off, tires (that got burned off :) ) and the MAF. Car has been rock solid other than that. I actually drove from California to New York with the 4:10's and had zero problems. I averaged 24 MPG ont the trip as well.

Ive owned my stang since march or this year. it has 75K and its been to the track 3 times since i got it (about 11 passes) and i did blow the crap t-45 trany but not at the track.lol go figure...powershifts just fine but blows at a stop sign at 3k rpm  . its got a T-3550 trans now and besides that it runs better than some newer stangs.

Had my stang sence April 8th of 2003,and i put just under 20,000 km's,yap,CANADA  ,and only had to replace the rear internals of the rear diff do to improper set up from factory, bad pin ,pinion gears, and clutch pack :nonono: .Other then that, this car has been really good to me.Knock on wood :D .As for passes on the track, less then 50 passes.

Mines a 96 with 59,000 miles. I just got it about a month ago. The things i know were replaced were the radiator and the top. I have never taken it to the track but plan to once i get some subframes. Which will be off a ways now since i have to buy headlights since i broke mine today! :notnice:

When my stang was a daily driver things that i broke or messed up in the city was:

suspension
clutch
tires
and the body

I know it doesn't sound like much but a lot of those things costed money to fix. Now i have a truck and my mustang goes out on the weekends.< If its not raining>

You'll be doing yourself a favor gettin another car.

well i really would like to hold up unitl my car goes out of warranty to get another car! but at the rate im going i will exceed the 3 yr part before the 36k miles! i have had my car over a year and only have 13kmiles on it! SO do you think i would be smarter to buy another car when my stang goes out of warranty? Hell ill have the stang paid off in like 15 months. (im a college student and i can only work 30hrs a week)
