Daily driver stang question

Is it better to run nitrous or a supercharger for a daily driver? No track time - just some fun on a saturday night once in a blue moon for some money.

Most people wont run me now because they will be able to hear a supercharger , the only ones that do are either stupid and dont realize that the noise is not coming from my power steering or they are running a jug . Sucked up a guy last weekend that was spraying a 94 or 95 5.0 . Either he didnt realize what I had or the jug had swelled his head so big he thought he could spray his way to the moon , either way , our cars love both . they respond better to power adders than most cars do because of the head design , they are especially designed well for blowers , but no blower is silent which may be your deciding factor , especially if you are putting any money on the plate .

I think you have to take into account that you have to run colder plugs and a smaller gap with NO2. I also think you have to adjust (retard) your timing for nitrous. This may have an adverse effect on your "daily driving" performance.

Hey big guy I would get the blower if I where you. As long as you don't go in to W.O.T you will not see any boost at all. Centrifgual blowers don't hit in till around 3.000rpms so if you shift at 3k you will not see any boost. Even Roost blower will not kick in if your not at WOT.

doesnt the nitrous kit do that automatically in the computer thing it comes with or do i gotta get some msd device also?

If i do the nitrous - even if its a 75 or 100 shot- im gonna go all out on the system so i would hope it would come with everything i needed - i also was thinking to do a DPI setup :)

WRX have you had yours dyno tuned yet , if not , its worth the drive to T&Js in GA , my car runs smoother now than it did the day i bought it new since Tim worked his magic on it .

talk to your dealer about it upfront , my dealer said that as long as I had mine professionally tuned with the air fuel ratio data logged , they would stand behind me on mine . but every dealer is different .

what kind of blower is it and for what year model ??

the supercharger was originally for a cobra, but had been replaced with something better :spot: i believe it is last years make, but i will find out the specifics-and thanks for the advice with the dealers. i have heard the same thing :bs:
