recently did my heater core and ac core. filled up radiator and resrv tank drove off. so while i'm at schucks came out tried starting and all she would do was crank. opened her up and it felt hotter than usual. tried starting again nothing. waited 15 min to cool down, started up. drove home and soon as i park it, tried starting one more time just to see. she wouldn't crank over. thought it could be pip or ing module but i replaced that 4 mo ago. let her cool out, midnight i went out started right up. ((if it's hot will it not start?)) morning noticed resv tank empty, filled up. also checked timing, it was at 30 degrees (all i have is k&n on the dd302, rest stock. this is not my 351). i don't know what the problem is. ((((could it have been the fluid? or my 30 timing?))) if its the timing... am i setting timing correctly? unplug the single conn, set timing to 10, tighten down, reconn conn, but then recheck shows 20 - idelling at 1900-2000 when it should be bout 800? it's suppose to jump 10 or so - does that mean to get 10 i have to initially set it at 0? please help me on this cause its my daily. i don't want to have a stranded pony on the hwy.
