Damage to Harmonic Damper???

I know you are not supposed to do this, but I removed the damper from my 5.0 yesterday by hitting it with a RUBBER hammer. There is no dents or scratches on it. Do you think that it is damaged and should be replaced or is it fine and I should reuse it???

well how does it look?
i personally would not put it back on there - when they are off, they can really create problems.
i might replace it just cause it is old anyhow - let alone the baseball fever that bit you.

please use a removal/install kit next time (loaned from parts stores).

that is why I hit it in the first place because I thought that it needed replaced anyways but then after I had some regret. I guess I will be replacing it. Thanks.
