DAMit. Trying to make workout gains and injuries!

Hey I completely understand

First of all when you work out for results, you don't get results for months at times...and that seems to be plenty of time for an injury or a bad cold to occur. Happens to me all the time...right when I am getting into a solid routine and looking good, I twist a nerve in my back or knee or I get a bad cold. It sux sometimes or like last week I couldn't run outside because of the smoke from the fires out here. But yeah, there will always be setbacks, but that's life. But remember losing is not failing, failing is not wanting to keep up the fight to win. Get well, and get back in there champ!
 
I hear ya bud, Im a skinny kid that has to work hard to gain weight! I was on a streak and gained 15 pounds over the course of 8 months, but since moved to a new town and completely fell off... Im only 5 pounds heavier than where I started now. Get back to it and inspire me to get a new gym membership!
 
Be sure to keep your diet up while you're having downtime.

Otherwise, you should not lose any meaningful gains.

Damn guys, I just stopped having dinner and I lost like 15lbs in under 3 months. I've never been much on working out so I just do sit ups and push ups and walk around all day at work. Besides that, I still pig out during the day. I try to eat healthier tho, but I refuse to give up any of my fav foods.
 
Yeah, I just tore something in my shoulder on Tuesday after an amazing year with no injuries... I'm heartbroken right now.. The hi-light of my day is going to the gym... Now what do I look forward to besides getting fat????
 
Funny story bout that.. I spent soo much time at the gym I ended up dating the cute counter girl.... TOTALLY F'D that one up last week... So thankfully I'm moving because I don't want to have to deal with BOTH her and my shoulder when I go workout... what a crappy year....
