Ha who won it? I told my friend about that one as he's been looking for the last 5 months for one. He was gonna bid on it. What did it go for?

Ok to get the wheels off the 92gt. You will need a sodering iron. Cause once you get the spindles off you will see a pin in the middle of it. Take the sodering iron and put the tip in the center of the pin for a few seconds. and pull the wheel down and it will come of but be carefull cause you dont want to lose the pin cause you will need that for the new wheels. You will see how the old wheels are so hat is what you will need to do to the new wheels to make them work. get some plastic tube to make it like the old wheels. You will fab up something so the pin will fit in the tube and you will be set for the 92. As for the 87 it is way easer. Once you get the spindle off its just a phillips screw and the wheels are off. Now here is the fun part if you can fab up something to work on those spindles then cool. cause when i did my replica i bought a yellow rag top for 45 bucks and used the chrome ponys off it and the front spindlesso im good to go. but if you can fab up something to work cool. If not email gmp and see if thy can send you a set of front spindles of a new style mustang. put atten mark if you do. Hope this helps you on your first wheel swap cause once you start you will be swaping wheels on all your mustangs. I want to see pic's when your done to.

Ok, but how do you get the spindles out? I took the two screws for the K-member out but couldn't seem to pull anything out. I didn't want to try too hard for fear of breaking anything.

Also, how do i get the wheels off the rear axle?

What do i do about the brake soft lines??

So now you have to take all the screws out of the bottom. there are 6 total. 2 in the rear by the exhaust. 2 in the front wheel wells and take off that black air dam in the front and there are two hidden screws in there. And then you have to pull the steerung wheel off and get the steering shaft out of the way and then the car will come apart. Then you will see 2 screws on the upper control arm that need to com out and then the front spindles will come out. the rear is easy just pull them they wimm come. twist back and fourth and the rear is done.
