Well tonight I was coming home from my g/f's house and at the light I noticed smoke. I thought it could be the valve covers, but when I looked I saw oil down the side of the bellhousing down towards the starter. Oh well, I cant have everything go perfect. Oh do any of guys have ideas on how do take a broken valve cover bolt out? It broke in the head while tightening.

Can you get a pair of pliers on it? If not try using a drill and see if that will unscrew it out.

if it is sheared flush with the head, all you can do is drill it out.

Go to Sears and get a set of those broken bolt remover bits. You will need a drill that is capable of reverse. I am pretty sure these would work...

yea its sheared even with the head. I drilled it with a small bit but I couldnt get the center of the bolts real well. My dad gave me the idea of using another drill bit slightly bigger than the one used but in reverse motion. Not a bad idea I guess.
