damn the low coolant light

Its allways on wtf, what should i do to get it off. Sometimes with i fill it completly up it will go off for a sec for not for long. Any suggestion on how to get it to work/or turn off?

the sensor usually goes bad in the overflow tube. mines been on since i bought the car back in 01. i just unplugged the wiring connector at the overflow tank .

Usually cleaning the two prongs at the bottom of the sensor with get it working again.

above quote is a fact these sensors rarely go out, the metal prongs at the bottom of the sensor corrode causing the light to illuminate just pull sensor out of the overflow tank and clean these metal prongs with a pocket knife or metal bristle brush until the shiny metal is exposed this should fix it...
