Just figured you would like to see someone stealing your pics. Might help the sale with a good looking car in there, lol.

Yea, I can't really do anything about it because I don't have any sort of watermark on the picture. I looked into the eBay rules, and in order to report a listing, the person has to have stolen the pictures from your auction apparently, and I haven't had any pictures of my car in an auction, so I don't think I can do anything. I guess it isn't doing any harm, but nonetheless it is still not right for him to use the picture.

I guess I'll have to start watermarking my pictures from now on, as much as I hate looking at other people's pictures with watermarks... Oh well, leave it to one person to ruin things... I knew it was bound to happen sometime.

...maybe he should post pictures of his skirts instead of someone else's

That is %&*#ed up seriously dan, it wasn't like posting up pics of his own parts would have been that hard. If you didn't you should send him an email yourself. You could just state how you didn't appreciate it. No reason to get hostle unless he tell you to go fly a kite or something. On another note,... he prolly searched the net for a few hours and your was the best pic. he could come up with so props to you on that.

Sent him a message:

"I thought I'd let you know the picture you are using for this auction is of my car. You should probably include pics of your item instead of someone else's car.

Also, FYI if they are SVO skirts, they are made of fiberglass, not urethane.

-Dan"

I don't think that is too hostile, but I fully expect him to be a douche bag in return.

lol, i thought at first he was trying to pass your car off as a car he was selling.

i think it is a compliment to your car, but he should have contacted you to see if you were ok with it, and he should also have put a note in the listing saying that the pic of the car was a representation of how the skirts look when done right.

Like Will said, if he thinks his car is better than yours, why doesn't he use his own damn car to sell his parts. Off with his head.
