Working on disassembly, hoping to start installing a new floor in my 68 coupe this fall, still looking at my options in the looks dept. I love red and black, but a red car with black interior seems to be a popular combo for these classics, to BLAH, and 2 of my other vehicles are already red. Thinking maybe about something like this fastback's look:

Didnt really like it at first, but im warming up to it. I had originally wanted to go Vin code T candy apple red, black interior with aluminum trim. Then went to an auto show and saw some Raven black classics, I wiped away the drool, took some pics, and started working on what I wanted. Kinda thought about black with wilver stripes, blask interior with brushed aluminum. I like the red interior though. I would have to go with dark red, that seems to be the only color that I can find all the components for the interior, might be able to find them in red, found just about everything but a dash pad. Maybe red with camera case black dash, white gauges, and seats in red with black in the center. I wonder if Fox body buckets would work............ Anyway id like some imput and opinions, see what you guys think.

Looked several places, as for dashes dark red is all thats listed, which im afraid is close to maroon. This is whats left of the "dark red" interior in my 69 F100.

I want this, its has to exist because I have found wo pics easily through google. Did find one place that lists both a red and maroon dash. I like this:

This is a factory 1968 Cobra Jet, I think its the "red":

I think this is the "dark red". SEE THE DIFFERENCE?

Im digging these seats, not so much the rest of the interior

I really like that fastback, except for the wheels. I think the red interior looks god with the black with red stripes.

The difference in those two reds could just be age, one could be new and the other sevaral years old.

That last picture of the 68 red/black interior, I think its gross.
