This Mod actually worked...I rotated the MAF 90 degrees toward the fender-well and WOW....Boy does she pull!! When I put the CAI on in the first place, I mentally convinced myself that it actually increased horsepower because i spent $190 bucks on it!! I really don't know how much power I picked up, but it really seems like the engine is breathing a hell of a lot better. One thing I did notice right away was that the exhaust crackles a lot after i rev it past 3500 RPM...It did before too, but not nearly as bad as it is now...What gives???

Somebody on this forum once told me that a crackling exhaust meant that the cats were running hot from having to burn up too rich of a condition. Take that for what it is worth.... free advice. I have no solid facts for that being true other than hear-say. Maybe somebody else can support that statement or reject it.

Thanks for your input. That does make perfect sense...although i do not have any cats. As far as i know, there are no emission laws in michigan.... as of yet.

By the way, I personally think that the setup you have on the "dragon" is the most "kick-ace" setup I have ever seen. I would love to see some numbers on it when spring hits.
