Dash Light issue

Have a 93 Lx 5.0 speed, no dash lights and the stock radio doesnt work, all fuses are fine, replaced headlight switch, didnt change anything, should i replace dimmer switch next or could it be something else..?? Dash lights worked up until a few weeks ago, then stopped.. NO burnt wires, tryed a different dimmer switch, nothing changed. Took cluster out of dash, all the bulbs are good, very confused to the problem..??

i had the same thing in my 02 and it was a wire getting to hot behind the dash and it melted. i had to cut it out and put a new one in and now it works fine. get a wire tester and see if you have a break in a wire.

I would suspect the dimmer switch for the lights. You could try unplugging the switch jumping the power wire to the illumination wire and see if they work then. Not sure if it works as i've never done it myself, but I don't see why not.

Remove the headlight switch and look for burnt wires or melted plastic,if all is good check the instrument panel dimmer switch
