I am hooking up a new gauge cluster in my 70 Mustang and I can't get my gauge lights to work.

When I put my multimeter on the Blue/Red Stripe wire which from what I've read everywhere is supposed to be the 12 volt wire for the dash lights I get nothing.

I've tried it with the light switch pulled all the way out and turning it left and right but nothing the wire remains dead. I've also checked my fuses and they look fine.

Any reason why this would be?

did you check your fuses with a voltmeter?

put it on the diode setting and check.

just because they look fine doesn't mean they aren't blown

Tim,

I read that thread but it seems to be missing the link to the wiring diagram you made.

Can you post that link again?

Thanks.

Nevermind it's showing up now.

Yeah, I realized the pic was linked to my old site, so I edited it with the new photobucket link.

Hope it helps.
