Im going to wire in my DCC tomorrow, so I have a few Q's. When it says the power to the negative and power to the positive, do I wire that right into the terminal on my battery? And also, I plan on wiring in the optional auxillary ignition source so that the fan can run when my car is off, where is a good place to wire that? Thanks guys

Yep - run the power and ground wires to the battery terminals directly. Don't forget the fusible link.

If you want the fan to run with the key off, you run the wire to battery power, right? When mine was like this, I ran that wire directly to the + lead on the controller. It seemed to work alright.

Good luck and enjoy!

I ran my ignition on wire to the wire on the wiper motor that is on only with ignition on. My fan runs for about 30 seconds (depending on the temperature) when I shut the car down. Been about a month, so far so good.

I agree, run the positive lead right to the positive battery post, and the neg. lead right to the negative battery post.

Hope that helps.

Never thought of it that way haha , so you are saying you ran that ignition wire coming out the side of the controller right back onto the + lead on the controller?

That's how I had it. I didnt note any weird issues.

If you ever find that you outrun your fan by very much and you make lots of stops in a row during such a time (for me, it's when ambient temps are over 110*F), it can take a toll on the battery. That was why I rewired it to only come on with the key.

Good luck.
