I’ve got a battery that was taken out of my car five years ago. It was a good battery when it was removed. It’s been sitting in my garage, dry, ever since. Is it worth keeping, can it be recharged?

probably not worth keeping. As a battery discharges and stays discharged, it loses its ability to take a full charge. You might be able to put it on a low current tricke charge and see if it come back. But you would need to load test it to make sure its still good.
